1.1       misho       1: <p>The roadwarriors <b>carol</b> and <b>dave</b> set up a connection each
                      2: to gateway <b>moon</b>. The authentication is based on <b>X.509 certificates</b>.
                      3: To authorize clients, <b>moon</b> uses locally cached attribute certificates.
                      4: While for <b>carol</b> a valid attribute certificate for the group <i>sales</i>
                      5: is available, <b>dave</b>'s attribute certificates are either expired or
                      6: do not grant permissions for the <i>sales</i> group.</p>
                      7: <p>Upon the successful establishment of the IPsec tunnels, <b>leftfirewall=yes</b>
                      8: automatically inserts iptables-based firewall rules that let pass the tunneled traffic.
                      9: In order to test both tunnel and firewall, both <b>carol</b> and <b>dave</b> try
                     10: to ping the client <b>alice</b> behind the gateway <b>moon</b>, but dave fails
                     11: to do so.</p>
